Hi All,

Somehow my email attempt from yesterday failed but the circuit breaker maintenance in Hall A is complete... Please verify that your respective systems are back online and operating normal. I appreciate all the help and please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Subject: Schedule Circuit Breaker Maintenance - Hall A

Hi All,

Facilities Management needs to do preventative maintenance on the circuit breakers in Hall A; see below link for a copy of the Hall A Task List. The work is schedule to start at 9am on Monday (9/30) morning but because of the AC installation work, we are considering moving the maintenance to 1:30pm tomorrow (9/26) afternoon. The reason for the change is that the AC work requires a power outage to install the circuit breaker and it would be more efficient to do the installation and the PMs at the same time. Unfortunately, the AC work has to be completed on Monday so the job can be closed out before the end of the fiscal year.

I am sending out this email to help spread the word to everyone that has equipment inside the hall. I (we) understand that this is a huge inconvenience for a lot of people but please keep in mind that this is necessary work that has to be done in an effort to mitigate future problems.

Hopefully, I have provided enough information so you all can understand the challenge I am facing in order to gain your support. I apologize for the short notice and please let me know, ASAP, if you have a major issue or concern with this plan.

P.S. The breaker maintenance will product a series of short power outages. Each outage is estimated to last between 10-15 minutes with the entire job being done in 2 hours.
