[Esr-users] Hall A UTubes

Good morning,
There have been some questions regarding the current configuration of Hall A U-Tubes and the plan moving forward.

Hall A is no longer using the superconducting magnets for physics experiments and does not need 4.5K capacity. They are still using the water cooled magnet, and they are still running physics requiring the 15K Supply and 20K Return for their targets. Because of this, we decided to pull the 4.5K Supply and Return as well as the LN2 U-Tubes.

We pulled the 4.5K Supply, but we were unable to pull 4.5K Return and LN2 U-Tubes for Hall A because the 20K Return U-Tube is in the way, see pics. We cannot pull the 20K because it will be in use until the SAD, at which time we will be able to reconfigure all the U-Tubes for Hall A. The 4.5K Return and LN2 valves are closed, but the U-Tubes will have to remain in place until the SAD.
