When we are operating the CEBAF machine the cryogenic plants have a voracious appetite for power and liquid nitrogen so we are always monitoring the weather to understand how it might effect our plant operations.<br>

As you might know we are facing potential snow storms heading our way. The predicted impact of these storms varies wildly. These storms have the ability to effect power and operations at the lab and can effect our ability to get liquid nitrogen from our vendor
in Hopewell. Ice and snow effect power and the operation of the vendors LN2 plant. It can effect their ability to get truck drivers to work, the condition of the roads from Hopewell to JLab, and the condition of the roads and fill stations here on site.<br>

Facilities Management has a plan and will have personnel on standby to clear the site roads with priority given to accessing the LN2 fill stations.<br>

We are working with our LN2 vendor to have our dewars topped up before the storms arrive. We will communications with them as the situation evolves to understand their ability to deliver our LN2.<br>

If we develop issues with receiving LN2 deliveries for a wide enough window that places us at risk of exhausting our on site storage then we will take action to reduce our consumption to make the on site storage last longer to keep the cryo plants running to
protect the helium inventory.</div>
