The following HVAC Outage has been Confirmed:

Outage:      Replace ARC Building Lab Exhaust Fan

Start Time:  05/28/2014 14:00
End Time:    05/29/2014 17:00

Description/Impacts:
One of the two exhaust fans have failed.  The motor needs to be replaced.  The subcontractor is has been tasked to repair the fan.  I will let you know when the subcontractor will have the replacement motor installed.

The labs have half the normal exhaust airflow.  If the lab fume hood is in alarm, inadequate exhaust airflow to utilize chemicals is available.  Do you use chemicals in the hood if the hood alarm is activated.  If the fume hood alarm is not activated, adequate exhaust airflow is available to use chemicals in the fume hood.
