The following HVAC Outage has been Completed:

Outage:      Switchover to CUP Chiller

Description/Impacts:
Switch Central Chiller Plant from Test Lab basement chillers to the CUP Building chiller.  Test Lab chillers will go off Saturday during scheduled electrical work.  Switchover to CUP Chiller is required to maintain operation of equipment (such as Test Lab North Addition UHV Furnace) and areas cooled by the Center Chiller Plant.  Impacted areas include site clean rooms (Test Lab and EEL Buildings), F-Wing Data Center, F113 Conference Room, most of Building 90, Test Lab highbay, TLA, and Accelerator Service Buildings cooled by the Accelerator Chilled Water Loop.

If switchover to the CUP chiller does not occur, equipment and areas listed above will not have cooling during the Saturday electrical power work shutdown.

Switchover should occur with minimal temperature rise in areas or equipment that should last less than 15 minutes.  Most areas will not notice the switchover has occurred.
