The following Control System Outage has been Completed:

Outage:      Upgrade Johnson Controls Metasys Virtual Workstation & Site Controller Software

Description/Impacts:
Johnson Controls Metasys Extended Architecture Virtual Workstation and site frontend controller software will be upgraded to the latest version.  The virtual workstation will be upgraded first beginning the morning of Tuesday 12-20-16.  Once the virtual workstation software upgrade is completed, upgrading of site frontend controller will begin.  While the virtual workstation is being upgraded, remote control and alarming functions will not be operational.  Critical mechanical systems such as the Test Lab Cooling Tower, the Central Chiller System, and F-Wing Data Center Chilled Water Pumps will be switched to manual so operations will be adversely impacted.  TLA Clean Room controller upgrades are being coordinated with SRF to minimize adverse impacts.  Mechanical equipment controlled will turn off briefly as controllers must reset themselves for the software update to activate.

There should be no impact to the Accelerator Chilled Water Loop cooled by the Central Chiller System since the Central Chiller System and Test Lab Cooling Tower will be switched to manual operation while their controllers are upgraded.
