The following Power Outage has been Proposed:

Description/Impacts:
The GovernAir unit is to be disconnected from breaker ACS-1 in the ARC main switchboard and a temporary fused disconnect will be connected to the bus in the switchboard to power the GovernAir unit until July 4th. To do this a complete power outage is required for the ARC. 

Affects:
- All labs and offices in the ARC Building lose electrical power during this outage. 
- Elevators will not be functioning during this outage. 
- No power will be supplied to HVAC and all equipment will be powered off.
- Building emergency generators will remain offline during this outage. 

Considerations:
- Experimental equipment should be secured and prepared for a 2 day power outage. Normal operations will begin Monday (06/20/2016) of the following work week. 
- All chemicals should be properly stored and fume hoods storing chemicals should be shut. 
- Evacuate all staff from the building at the end of the work day Friday (06/17/2016). 
- No one is to occupy the ARC during this outage.
