[FFA_CEBAF_Collab] "Quick and dirty" Spreader 9+

Good evening colleagues,

I decided to quickly crank out a couple of passes in the spreader 9 (based on our current layout a bit). I only had time to set up the on-energy pass (10.55 GeV) and get the dispersion closed for that. I then sent through 12.75 GeV with the same settings (had to alter path lengths and angles everywhere, but worked out right), just to see what output we get without playing with the magnets. These are uploaded in the Optics folder. I haven’t added in Alex B’s optics as input yet – just to get us something to look at.

Again, quick and dirty. Not even close to a final design, and only 2 passes. I’ll do more next week, and refine the design to try to account for all the different energies going through, Alex B’s input parameters, and I’ll try to get some of Jay’s recommendations in there as well, if I have time. I’ll also do it in BMAD later. I just wanted us to have some numbers to work with. I’ll get back to it Monday.

I uploaded OptiM files, .dat files (with the various optics parameters), and some plots.

Everyone have a great weekend!

Cheers!
Ryan
