[FFA_CEBAF_Collab] Splitter Update

Dear Colleagues,

The long-awaited splitter geometry is here! Below is a plot of the floor plan, and I’ve updated the github with the latest version. A *LOT* of compromises had to be made for this geometric layout. When I have a chance, I’ll write a tech note so that these can best be described, and I’m happy to discuss as well. But the reason this took so long is partially because I had to learn how to do this in Bmad, and partially because these decisions required a lot of consideration, calculations, and compromise.

The short version: this is very crowded. Every decision and change comes at the expense of something else. There are a lot of ways to do the geometry, and all have strengths and weaknesses. This version has the benefit of “keeping things simple.” Next up, I’ll start addressing the path length, then I’ll add in optics once that’s “settled.”

You can either click on “Splitter Geometry” to see the commit notes, or click CEBAF>22GeV>Bmad>SPLITTERS and see the files. Please note, they aren’t “cleaned up” yet – so there are lots of comments, typos, etc…
