Dear Colleagues,

I worry about the second bullet on slide 11…

‘ The emittance values previously provided are not valid and will not be until there is a layout. Beam size will then be recalculated.’

In fact, we have a layout. What is missing to complete the emittance dilution budget  are the splitters. We already heave a preliminary emittance budget for the FFA arcs and the new  Spr/Rec.
I would refine the statement as:

‘The emittance dilution budget previously provided include contributions from the FFA arcs and the new  Spr/Rec, one still needs to include emittance dilution coming from the horizontal splitters as they are being designed. Beam size will then be recalculated.’

Please, let me know if you agree…
