[FFA_CEBAF_Collab] [EXTERNAL] Bmad training workshop

Dear colleague,

David Sagan and I will teach a one-week Bmad training workshop at BNL this summer. This will be purely for practical education, no grades or credits are involved. There will be lectures about basic accelerator design and simulations, and participants will then be guided to design a ring that is similar to the ESR, while running Bmad on their own computers. We had this as part of last summer's USPAS and participants seemed to profit a lot.

Currently we are looking for a good week. Possibilities are

Week of July 29
Week of August 5
Week of August 19

If you plan to attend, please let me know. And then please also tell me if some of these weeks will not work for you.
