Hi,
As requested, I have added a link to the FROST wiki. The link is on the
main page in the section "Software and Analysis". The link has the title:
"Standard practices, common practices, and common analysis issues for g9a"
The page consists of three parts:
1) Standard practices: These are defined as practices that are expected
for each FROST analysis
2) Common practices: These are analysis practices that are common to at
least two groups
3) Common analysis issues: These are issues that may affect more than one
single analysis
Please keep in mind that the page is basically a framework. I have placed
what I thought the standard practices might be. It is not my intention to
try and state what the standard practices are. These needs to be agreed
upon by the FROST group. I'm just getting the ball rolling.
For the "common analysis issues" I have, mainly, put those things that I
have been involved with. Because the page was created from my own personal
viewpoint, it will be skewed to some extent. It would be good for
everyone to read through the web page and add/modify the content so that
we get a better picture of the common analysis issues that the FROST group
has, or currently is, studying.
I am positive that I have left out important analysis information. To a
large degree I have gone by memory.
There are past meeting web pages that I could not find. This is mostly due
to links from the FROST meeting web page being periodically replaced. In
particular, I wanted to include information from the pi+ n analysis
results regarding the mass distributions from Carbon and Butanol not
matching, as well as, the pi+ n momentum correction study. It would be
good for this information to be linked from the web page.
For those that do not wish to navigate the FROST wiki, the link is
http://clasweb.jlab.org/rungroups/g9/wiki/index.php/Standard_practices%2C_common_practices%2C_and_common_analysis_issues_for_g9a
I will try to add more content and to keep up with the current issues. It
is, however, a group web page that all FROST members should contribute to.
Have a fun Halloween.
Sincerely,
Michael
