With all that in mind, is there actually a pressing need for this
meeting? Does someone actually have something urgent to report that
can't wait until next week when (maybe) JLab will be fully reconnected
to the rest of the world? ----BGR

One more thing, the links on the meeting page must point to internal
jlab servers. We still don't have access to most of the external web
sites from the lab.

Hi all,
Let's try to have a meeting tomorrow, Thursday July 14 at 11:30 JLab
time in B101.
The meeting page

Even though we still have limited internet connectivity there is a way
to access internal websites from off-site. Here is how.
1. ssh to login.jlab.org
2. from there ssh to any CUE computer other than ifarm, for instance
jlabl1.
3. once there, launch firefox and go to our wiki.
make sure you have XWindows forwarding turned on in ssh and Xwindows
server running on your machine.
I tried this from home today and it works.
