Yuqing,

I am having difficulty understanding the angles.

On slide 6 it looks like the azimuthal angle is that of the plane
containing the pi+pi- pair and thetaCM is related to the proton, and
theta is related to the pi+. Is this a correct interpretation?

On slide 10 you plot in terms of \phi_{CMS}. Is this the azimuthal angle
of the pi+pi- plane?

I bet that my interpretation of the angles is all messed up :(

On slide 10 the dilution factor for a fixed W is given in terms of
\phi_{CMS}. Since the dilution factor is most sensitive to lab angles and
momentum, I don't understand why those variables would be ignored in favor
of a variable that should not be important for the dilution.

On slide 11 you have asymmetry determination plots for fixed W and phi, in
terms of the angle \beta. What is \beta? What particle(s) does \beta refer
to?

On slide 14 and 15 you have plots in terms of \phi. What is \phi. I am
totally confused about the angles.

Take care,
Michael
