If anyone has anything to show tomorrow please respond to the
mailing list.
If we don't hear from anyone by 11:00 tomorrow morning then there is
no reason to have meeting.

There is no guarantee that we will have normal connectivity in a
week from now.
I wish I am wrong but I doubt it.
The procedure I described in previous message worked for me from
home today.
All you need is ssh client and Xserver running.
On Linux and Mac all this is available by default.
I used Cygwin ssh client and Xserver on WinXP machine.

Assuming of course that everyone changed their passwords. Those who
did not change have their accounts disabled until they do.

Hi all,

Let's try to have a meeting tomorrow, Thursday July 14 at
11:30 JLab time in B101.
The meeting page http://clasweb.jlab.org/rungroups/g9/wiki/index.php/July_14%2C_2011
Even though we still have limited internet connectivity there
is a way to access internal websites from off-site. Here is
how.
1. ssh to login.jlab.org
2. from there ssh to any CUE computer other than ifarm, for
instance jlabl1.
3. once there, launch firefox and go to our wiki.
make sure you have XWindows forwarding turned on in ssh and
Xwindows server running on your machine.

I tried this from home today and it works.
