Hi, Craig,
This is a good talk.
I have a few comments:
Slide 3: Compass preliminary results: Could you show their results as
well, since it is already public (at least you could already google it.
:))? Or at least use it on a backup slide.
Theorists ... more effective: Maybe you should cite the relevant references.
Slide 4: "No conclusions" from g6c. I think this is a misinterpretation of
our paper. The 3pi paper from g6c established upper limit for cross
section, as well as (upper) ratio of pi1(1600) to a2. I think you should
be more cautious here in general. People have argued that
pi1(1600)/pi1(1400) is not a gluonic hybrid. It is possible that the
reason we did not see exotic meson in g6c is simply because it likes
around 2GeV, where we ran out of phase space. Put in another way, the BNL
results, g6c results, and the photon-production-better-for-exotic-meson
predictions, could all still co-exist.
Slide 8/10. All the labels on the figures are too small.
Slide 9/10: Preliminary resuts. My understanding is if it is preliminary
"PHYSICS" results, then you use "Preliminary". If you are only showing
mass/angular distributions, then there is no such need.
In addition, is Slide 9 intentionally without figures, even though the
title says "mass spectra"?
Good luck!
