[G12] Meeting today

Hi Dennis et al:
At today's research meeting Miles described the group's concern about the variation in reconstructed proton mass with photon energy. I would like to ask whether the role of proton straggling in the detector materials has been satisfactorily taken into account. For example, the proton undergoing multiple interactions with materials will a. lose momentum and b. take a longer time to reach the TOF, both of which will affect the calculated mass. Since I don't know the details of how this is done in the user anal, this question is asked out of ignorance.
Regards, Paul
