Hey Diane,
It looks very nice. Here are a few suggestions:
The "Initial Cuts" slide could benefit from maybe a plot or two; in
general a slide that has an image is usually more engaging than a slide
that is all text. I'm sure people wouldn't mind seeing how the g12
target/z-vertex or vertex-timing looks with/with-out your cuts. You might
not have room for this, though.
The "2 Gamma Data Selection" slide 10 has a little space. For clarity,
you might want to show this equation as much as you can with variables,
and then define the variables below. Use M_eta where you can, and use 'a'
and 'b' instead of 0.13 and 0.08, and then call them the semimajor and
semiminor elliptical axes in the definition below. I think that would
help viewers understand what's going on in this slide more quickly.
On Slide 18 I'd cut up and paste the equations so they are multi-lined and
stacked under their histogram, and not underneath a neighboring one.
Is there supposed to be a "2 Gamma" in the right hand corner of slides 14,
15, 17, 18 , and 19? Are they to differentiate between the 1 Gamma data
selection? If so, I would just add a line after the 1 gamma data
selection slide that says the rest of the presentation shows data from the
2 gamma data selection only.
Hope that helps,
-Michael
