Current Meeting:
June 1, 2011
-(Johann) I have a program which reads in bos files and outputs two files: good.bos and trip.bos. The good.bos file contains events that are in "good" scalar intervals - i.e. those which gflux included in the flux calculation. The trip.bos contains the events which gflux threw away.
goetz at ifarml1:~>/home/goetz/local/bin/bos-trip-split -h
Generic options:
-h [ --help ] produce help message.
-q [ --quiet ] quiet mode.
-v [ --verbose ] verbose mode.
-o [ --outfile ] arg (=good.bos) output file name.
Program specific options:
-m [ --max ] arg (=0) maximum number of events to process.
-t [ --tripfile ] arg (=trip.bos) Output BOS of files from trip regions
(.00, .01 will be appended to all
output files).
-d [ --tripdir ] arg (=/work/clas/clasg12/clasg12/tripfiles)
Directory that contains trip files.
-s [ --singlefile ] Single file output mode (warning: will
fail when output file exceeds 2GB).
-I have isolated the method is_good(run, event, tripfile_directory) in the header file which can be obtain using svn:
svn export https://jlabsvn.jlab.org/svnroot/clas/users/goetz/clas_event_tree/utilities/bos/trip.hpp
to use this header file, just include it into your own C++ program (or translate it into your favorite programming language).
a few things to note:
-You will have to copy over the directory /work/clas/clasg12/clasg12/tripfiles if you are not on the CUE machines. This contains all the tripfiles used by gflux.
-This function is not thread-safe due to the static std::map where the trip data is stored.
-Also, this header file comes 'as is' and without warranty, explicit or implied, and is not intended for any specific use or purpose.
