     -I revisited incorporating random hits from the 3Hz trigger into MC data. I have now a program that reads in cooked data in which the appropriate banks were not dropped (pass1 dropped a couple that is needed for this), and writes out a new BOS file with corrections applied so it can be merged with a MC file. The corrections still need to be tuned and verified - will be done this week. Merging program will follow shortly. All subsystems for g12 are extracted from the data now (including: ST, DC, CC, TOF and EC). The tagger already taken care of with the gpp's -A option.
          -outstanding problems with extracting random hits (gains are the conversion from ADC channels to energy and are typically different between raw data and MC. Why this is the case is anyone's guess.):
               -Start Counter ADC Gain values (data and MC)
               -Cerenkov ADC Gain values (data and MC)
               -EC paddle ID conversion from Calibration database to Raw data
     -Zeno's Paradox Part 1: The flux calculation has about a 50% success-rate on the farm (301 successful out of 622 jobs). I talked with Sandy Philpott about it and the problem is not obvious. I will keep resubmitting the jobs till they all get through but it could take more than a week longer than anticipated.
     -Zeno's Paradox Part 2:  There are now a mere 222 files (out of ~59k) that are not in the pass1 directory. I am going to try the cooking script on the farm once more on these. The files left will be processed in a more interactive way so I can see why these particular ones failed.
     -Kinematic fitting results for p K+ K- look promising. Plots to come...
