[G12] Beam Correction II

Looked at another way, the correction factor changed from 0.584% to 0.509%, a change of 584/509=1.15. Can you
do better to get a more accurate correction with less uncertainty?

seems like the error in your result (the 1.00584) is maybe 0.001 or so. Is that reasonable?

I have realized if I do a manual fit to find the correction value, I can obtain different correction values for the beam.
My previous email had a correction factor of 1.00509. When I do it manually I get a correction factor of 1.00584.
I have attached the new plot for run 56515. There is now only a 2.78 MeV difference in the mass peak from the expect.
I know believe this is the correct path to undertake for the beam corrections.

It means, instead of having ROOT do a TF1 fit with initial parameters and allowed variances, I open the histogram, right click the histogram, open fit panel, manually set my limits ..etc.....ie manually
