Hi All,

As Lei and Carlos suggested, I posted the predicted proton-eta as well as the phi-eta distributions (by weighing the simulations) using the pwa fit production amplitudes.

It has the expected angular distributions as well as the predicted mass spectra. I also posted 2 dimensional plots of Phi-eta vs Proton-eta as well as their dalitz plots.

Find it at :

Mukesh.

Hi, Mukesh,

Do you have the predicted distributions for M(p_eta) using your PWA results?
If your data does contain the two N*'s, then your PWA predictions should not be able to describe the M(p_eta) spectra, and it will be another powerful evidence for the N* contributions. We could even get some phi/N* cross sections, which I don't believe have been measured by anyone.

Hi All,

You can look at the plots I mentioned at the meeting here:

I have also posted plots where I split my data evenly using t-cut as well as a t-prime cut. They are quite informative.

As you can see I do have the N*(1535) as well as a significant contribution from N*(1710) in my Proton-Eta plots.

The data used in the plot had the following corrections applied in the order stated: the eloss corrections, Beam Energy corrections, the momentum corrections. After the corrections are applied, I use the kinematic fitter to fit the missing mass to an eta meson.

Mukesh.
