Hello Everyone,
This is a reminder that there is a g12 Meeting in room B101 today at 11:00 am EST.

-(Johann) continuing with the pK+K- momentum balance study...
-in the notes below, when I say "phi" I mean the angle in degrees, but I have the back half of sector 1 in the -30 to 0 range. The resulting momentum corrections will be a function of the particle's ID and this "shifted phi":
phi := (clas_phi + 30) % 360 - 30
-again, the kaon data is from the runs: 56[345]*, the pion data is from several runs (from about 1M p pi+ pi- X events)
-I am writing a function that will take the momentum and the particle ID and return the corrected momentum. This could be done by charge, but its easy enough to seperate by PID.
-What is needed BEFORE I make the final pcor calculations is the beam energy correction. I.e. the longitudinal momentum balance must average to zero for every run individually.
-What I deeply desire: a function that takes run number and tagger E paddle and returns the actual/corrected beam energy. For 622 runs this is 622*767 = 477074 numbers that have to be calculated.
pK+K- exclusivity cuts. MM2 cut is (-0.006, 0.002) GeV.
Tagger E paddle population for exclusive pK+K- events.
tranverse momenta of p, K+, K- and their "balances"
pK+K- transverse momentum balance for each track and sector. The fit is a "gaussian profile" with a linear mean as a function of phi.
pK+K- longitudinal momentum balance for each track and sector. Same fit as with transverse momentum balance.
ppi+pi- exclusivity cuts. MM2 cut is (-0.006, 0.002) GeV.
Tagger E paddle population for exclusive ppi+pi- events.
tranverse momenta of p, pi+, pi- and their "balances"
ppi+pi- transverse momentum balance for each track and sector. The fit is a "gaussian profile" with a linear mean as a function of phi.
ppi+pi- longitudinal momentum balance for each track and sector. Same fit as with transverse momentum balance.
