[G12] note ready?

Johann,

Just two minor things. You'll need to revise the first paragraph about sections 6 and 7 to include the pi0 cross sections with the other two.

Also, Figure 98 seems out of place. I couldn't see where Fig. 98 is referenced in the text, but in any case it seems odd to put this at the end of the document. I suggest removing Figure 98 (or perhaps placing it somewhere else).

With those changes, I agree with you that it's ready to go to the committee.

Ken

Hi g12,
OK, I think we should now submit the g12 analysis procedures note to the committee. I added in MK's pi0 cross section and fixed all the missing/duplicate reference links that latex was complaining about. Any objections?

Current version is 1.1
here is the link:

Hi, Johann,

How are you? I saw that the note has already been greatly improved, and all the cross sections are in. Are we releasing it today?

I'm making some sweeping changes at the moment and I can add that in. Ken and I went through almost every page this morning and I think everything is looking good now. I'll finish up and increment the version to 1.0 and send a message to g12.

I would simply add this:

During the g12 running period, Hall B does not have the priority. As a result, the polarization of the beam was delivered as a byproduct as other Halls requirement, and fluctuates. However, the majority of the g12 runs has beam polarization close to 70%.

If you think this is OK, I'll add it.

Hi Lei,
Could you put a sentence in the beam polarization section saying why the polarization fluctuates from 85% to 45% and back to 75% during g12? Thanks!
