MK,
Do you know how often you see two of the tracks in the same sector for p pi+ pi- in the data?

This ratio to total number of events seen is very interesting with p K+ pi-. I get 20% of the data events to have the p pi- in the same sector, but its 84% in simulations without modelling the trigger which required three tracks in separate sectors below 3.6 GeV beam energy.

I'm going to develop a small function that takes in all the tracks in the event and returns true or false based on the trigger logic. Unfortunately, we had something like 6 or more different trigger configurations so its not trivial. But I can make it run dependent I suppose.

Hi g12,
I couldn't get this done before the last meeting, but I
did a rough total cross section measurement using the most
recent gflux data and everything looks pretty good so far.
There are a few issues I still need to address, but after
certain corrections (the trigger for example) I believe we
will have good agreement with older results from CLAS/g1
and SAPHIR.
I used 93 complete runs that were evenly distributed
throughout g12 - all production runs (no single sector
runs).

Please mull this over and get back to me with questions on
Monday and I can investigate further before the next
meeting.
Have a good weekend everyone!
I am attempting to verify this with P Rho (PipPim) cross section.
Having issues with simulation, hopefully will have result by next
meeting.
