To my recollection, and hopefully Dennis can remember as well
since we look at this together in a G12 meeting, the problem with
the EVNT bank was that there were some events where EVNT was
reporting more tracks than PART. When we (Dennis and I) went back
to the original uncooked files, we discovered that the extra
events that EVNT was reporting had no tracks in the DC. We used
CCD to verify this with a small data sample and concluded that
this effect was throughout the EVNT. This conclusion makes the
EVNT unusable due to the fact when we cook with a1c we do not
store the DC information and we have no way of knowing which
events have this no DC effect.

I know that there are some people that use EVNT, and I have
questioned this numerous times. I would suggest that people using
EVNT to independently verify that what I have stated is correct.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Also, for those interested, I am attaching my ffread card. For
those using CC and EC in your simulation, set your clas_caldb
setenv CLAS_CALDB_RUNINDEX calib_user.RunIndexg12_mk
I believe that the normal CLAS_CALDB_RUNINDEX calib_user might
work, but I have never verified.
