Greetings,<br>
<br>
I have written a script for this. This script is in beta, I will add
more to it later, but the output is my efficiency correction for
single photon selection.<br>
<br>
Please look at my svn <br>
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="https://jlabsvn.jlab.org/svnroot/clas/users/mkunkel/clas/g12_corrections/g12_trackEfficiency.hpp">https://jlabsvn.jlab.org/svnroot/clas/users/mkunkel/clas/g12_corrections/g12_trackEfficiency.hpp</a><br>
<br>
you will need the histograms located in <br>
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="https://jlabsvn.jlab.org/svnroot/clas/users/mkunkel/clas/g12_corrections/EFFICIENCY_HISTS/">https://jlabsvn.jlab.org/svnroot/clas/users/mkunkel/clas/g12_corrections/EFFICIENCY_HISTS/</a><br>
<br>
To use, <br>
double <font color="#ff0000">tot_eff</font> =
clas::g12::g12_trackEfficiency(Vz, P_Ptot_fit, P_Phi_fit,
P_Theta_fit, Ep_Ptot_fit, Ep_Phi_fit, Ep_Theta_fit, Em_Ptot_fit,
Em_Phi_fit, Em_Theta_fit, TString DEG_or_RAD ,TString dir);<br>
<br>
I have only tested this with lab angles that are in degrees, but
there is a conversion in the script, not tested though.<br>
<br>
I use it as <br>
Double_t xSection_scale =
(1.e-30*Flux_norm*density_of_target*dTheta/<font color="#ff0000">tot_eff</font>);
<br>
<br>
Then I weight my event by this number.<br>

<div>I do not have it in script form.<br>
What I can do is get a package together that you can mimic,
but you will still have to do some coding on your own.<br>

<div>This depends, do you use all "in time" photons in
the event, or do you select single photons?<br>

<div>HI, Zulkaida,
<div class=""><br class="">
</div>
<div class="">MK, Johann and I had a meeting
today going over the g12 review comments,
specifically related to this comments:</div>
<div class=""><br class="">
</div>
<div class="">"When you compare cross
sections to previous measurements please </div>
compare in the same kinematical bins. A
strong forward peak pushes other <br
class="">
point to the axis and it is not possible to
judge if they agree or not. In addition
<br class="">
to overlaying two data sets, show their
ratio. Even without it we see that in <br
class="">
some bins the agreement is not very good.
Make something similar to pull <br class="">
distributions as well, to see if there is a
bias."
<div class=""><br class="">
</div>
<div class="">Could you do the following
two </div>
<div class="">1. Apply MK’s track-dependent
correction for the normalization. It
should be similar to your overall 15% (or
is it 18% correction). MK has some routine
you can just call. If you want to do it
quickly, at least your should apply
separate corrections (globally) for p pi+
pi-</div>
<div class="">2. Plot the ratio of your
xsections over g11 and/or pull
distributions. If you have questions about
details, please contact MK/JOhann. We are
looking to submit the response next week,
so hopefully we are not ruining your long
weekend.</div>
