[G14_run] Possible Reason for cooked files disappeared.

Dao, Natalie, Jamie, Jeffrey, Mark ...
I am sorry that I made the students responsible for the disappearance of
the files on /volatile/clas/clasg14 becuase you did not use (touch) the
files over a week.
/volatile/clas/clasg14 was practically wiped out on March 7 (only files
<1kB were left). I talked to Sandy Philpott about it: she was not aware
of this and she is not sure what happened but apparently the auto-deletion
algorithm on the /volatile file server has a bug!

Another issue: I do not know who has been cooking more than 6000 files
over the last days for ST calibrations: this does NOT make any sense!!!
NO detector system needs that many files for calibration. These files were
submitted before we discussed to have a new 'pass0/v1' on the Friday
meeting: I asked Dao to check the output of the DC calibration and do
another iteration, and Jeff made his tagger constants only valid for the
run used for calibrations. This morning I had some time to write a script
to link the tagger constants to the supposed run ranges.

Patrick and I would like to start a next pass ... but there are still over
1000 files of user clasg14 pending on the farm!
Please remember to send requests for cooking of files to Patrick!!!

Have a nice weekend
Franz
