[G14_run] G14 group meeting on March 12th, 9:30am

Sorry I cannot join the meeting today.
So here in short the status of pass1 perparation and other changes I made:
(a) SC-EC timing difference is corrected for by common offsets to EC_To (I
cooked a bunch of files to check whether that's okay).
(b) The skims produced from pass0/v13 should be checked by the
colaborators working on the corresponding analyses by running their
analysis programs over the full DSTs (ROOT/DST_0nnnnn.Axx.Byy.root) and
the corresponding skimmed DST (after your cuts there should not be a
difference in the output). Skims to be checked: DST_Kp... (K^+ X),
DST_KpSm... (K^+ Sigma^- already checked by Jamie), DST_Ppim... (P pi^-),
DSTgpid... (only GPID and related banks), cooked...root (COBRA format for
Dao). Please send me a mail when you've compared the output.
(c) Disk space on /work and /volatile for pass1 cooking: I will remove all
pass0 files next week and will ask everyone who has files on these disks
to do the same.

(d) Testing eloss: I made some small corrections to Eugene's code, it is
working (whether all the geometry is correct, is another question ... need
lots of simulated kinematics for that).
Anyway, anyone doing analysis should use the eloss correction and check
whether missing mass plots show sharper peaks and the expected positions.
Please see

for more detail.

Greetings,
Franz
