[G14_run] g14 group meeting on 15April2015, 9:00am

Hi all,
Today's meeting clashes with an appointment of mine. I did have some questions to present, perhaps they can be simply be answered here. 

- in the timing difference of the ToF and Tagger I still have the distribution offset from zero (~0.4). I am correcting the SC time used, is there something simple I am just not accounting for. 

- similarly for delta beta. Comparing the corrected beta to the measured given by GPID the distribution is not centred around zero (~0.01). Although using betam - beta (again GPID) is centred around zero, which struck me as odd as this is not a corrected beta. To study this I reconstructed the kaon  mass using uncorrected betam and momenta, which is perfectly centred on the PDG mass. With corrections, shifted to higher masses. Is betam pre corrected somehow? 

Your thoughts on these offsets would be greatly appreciated.

Instructions for offsite participants:
- Connecting via a web browser:
• go to https://bluejeans.com/9225697356

• under "Attend a Meeting" on the right:
  - join as participant
  - under "Meeting ID", enter 9225697356 
  - under "Name", enter your name or something I can recognize
  - select "ENTER MEETING" (Blue Button)

• if you have not used Bluejeans before on that PC/MAC, you will
be asked to download a plug-in, and you might have to go through that
process twice.

• you will be directed to a new page, with video from the participants on
the right. At the top of that panel (just to the right of the symbol with
two blue heads) is an icon of a PC screen - that gives you "sharing
options", under which you can select "share my desktop". That lets you
present/show anything that’s on your desktop - a ppt or pdf presentation, etc, so that everyone can view; 

• to leave the meeting at the end, use the red phone icon in the upper right to hangup
- Connecting via a telephone:
   • call one of the following numbers:
    - from USA/Canada:   1 888 240 2560; or 1 408 740 7256; 
    - from UK: +44 203 608 5256;
    - from Italy: +39 05 104 20256;
      
      • when prompted, enter the meeting ID, followed by #: 9225697356 #
        - as a participant, press the # key and you will join the meeting
      
 • to leave the meeting at the end, just hang up
