Hi,
as I was requested to show reconstructed z vertex distributions for
Linear and Empty data, I am attaching a pdf file
for this purpose.
(1) The distributions are from pi- P data after all cuts for a final W
bin of 1.9 < fW < 1.98 GeV (all theta angles).
(2) (a) - (d) are from 4 sets of data (D+ PERP, D+ PARA, D- PERP and D-
PARA).
(e) is from Empty target run a (Torus polarity is the same as (a)
- (d)).
(f) show comparisons between (a) and (e).
(3) As can see from (f), at the 3rd peak from the left (z = ~ 1cm,
downstream Kelf window), both widths are close.
(4) During the linear runs, the widths of the 3rd peak are close.
(5) The peak heights of the 1st peak (z = ~ -11 cm, entrance window of
the target cell) are different between
Empty a and Linear runs, because the target cells are different.
Regards, Tsuneo Kageya.
