Haiyun,
I have some questions/comments about the most recent
analysis note.
1.
In Figure 32, G vs cos(theta) plots for the W = 1860
and 1940 seem to be the identical.
(2) Numbers from fit values at Fig. 38, for example,
seem to different from those on the table.10.
Regards, Tsuneo Kageya.

Dear Haiyun,
we have revised the results reported in the present version of the analysis note and we have realized that the fluctuations of Gsin(phi) data are now spanning in ranges that are way larger that the physical [-1;1] range.
As a consequence the statistical errors of the extracted G values have huge relative errors.
The present results do not carry information that may be published.
The next step we have decided to take is to double check again the numbers and the formulas:
- we may use the tables you have sent last december or the yields obtained by Tsuneo in the same bins, and apply the formulas you have reported in the analysis note or the formulas used by Tsuneo; we could obtain 4 different distributions for Gsin2phi (and 4 different distributions for Sigma cos2phi) for each W,theta bin.
We hope to get a better understanding of the results from the comparison of the 4 versions of the same distribution.
One last question: we have noticed that some of the yield values are equal to zero.
What did you do with those values? Did you discard the points or are they used in the fit?
We are planning to hold next g14 meeting in two weeks.
All the best
Annalisa
