Jixie,
I have looked over results from this period, including spectrometers,
sieves and harps. A good value for the uncertainty of a single point would
be 0.15mm. This would be the component of the uncertainty in each of the 3
directions (Z, X, Y). Although individual surveys will vary from this, and
each of the axes may be slightly different, this is the average value
determined from several surveys.

Dear Chris,

We are working on spectrometer optics for Hall A g2p|gep experiments.
We need to estimate the uncertainty of the optics. One of the major sources
of the uncertainty is the uncertainty of survey results.

In our case, the absolute position of HARP and HRS and Sieve Slits came from
surveys. I have put all our servey reports here:
