<div dir="ltr">Hi, <br><br>  Today I found some problem of ifarm1401 and ifarm1101.<br><br>problem 1：<br><br>When I execute root in these 2 machines, I got this message:<br><br>/ifarm1401> echo $ROOTSYS<br>/work/halla/g2p/disk1/centos65/root-5.34.21-x86_64<br clear="all"><br>ifarm1401> $ROOTSYS/bin/root<br>Couldn't find font "-adobe-helvetica-medium-r-*-*-10-*-*-*-*-*-iso8859-1",<br>trying "fixed". Please fix your system so helvetica can be found,<br>this font typically is in the rpm (or pkg equivalent) package<br>XFree86-[75,100]dpi-fonts or fonts-xorg-[75,100]dpi.<br><br>And root hang there.<br>Yesterday it still runs.  Is there anything missing in the system？<br>or disk failure?<br><br>problem 2:<br>It takes forever to compile my code, which simply use only root <br>installed in above location.<br><br>Here is the error message:<br>=========================================<br>jixie@ifarm1401> pwd<br>/u/home/jixie/work/test<br>jixie@ifarm1401> make<br>Making dependency for file src/GlobalDebuger.cc ......<br>Making dependency for file src/BonusOsiCut.cc ......<br>Making dependency for file src/BonusMain.cc ......<br><br>==========================================<br>File  src/BonusMain.cc depends on root header. The other 2 files do not.<br><br>Now I switch to use root in  "/u/apps/root/PRO/root/", <br>it does compiled!<br>It looks like root installed in <br>/work/halla/g2p/disk1/centos65/root-5.34.21-x86_64<br>has a problem. But this root working well yesterday.  <br><br>Some hard drive of /work fail again?<br><br>problem 3:<br>Can not remove one dir:<br><br>jixie@ifarm1401> rm -fr /u/home/jixie/work/Osi_StandAlone/obj.Linux.x86_64<br>rm: cannot remove `/u/home/jixie/work/Osi_StandAlone/obj.Linux.x86_64/.nfs0000000069ef139c000056d9': Device or resource busy<br>rm: cannot remove `/u/home/jixie/work/Osi_StandAlone/obj.Linux.x86_64/.nfs0000000069ed13d1000056da': Device or resource busy<br><br><br><br>-- <br><div class="gmail_signature">With Best Regards,<br>Jixie Zhang<br>757-269-7735 <br>_______________________________________________</div>
