[G8b_run] g8b meeting

Hi,

This is a bit of a mess. From what I understand, we are having a short g8b 
meeting this Thursday to discuss the ISU omega results. I was not aware 
that the Monday meeting was canceled. Has the Monday meeting been 
canceled?

Here is my problem: If the new polarizations are to be discussed on 
Thursday and Ken only has an hour to attend the Thursday meeting, then I 
don't think it is wise of us to schedule anything else to be discussed.

It is important for the g8b group to approve plots to be shown at the 
collaboration meeting, BUT, in no possible way, are approval of plots to 
be shown at a collaboration meeting anywhere near as important as 
Ken discussing the new polarization tables.

In short: If the Monday meeting is canceled, we should not put anything 
on the Thursday agenda other than polarization tables. In this case, ISU 
can put the plots to be shown on the web. (But then, why would we even 
change the meeting day?)

My preference is to keep the Monday meeting for the discussion of the 
polarization tables. This is important and the group went through the 
process of signing up on a doodle poll to set the time and day. It is just 
plain wrong to let ISU dictate a new day and time and then use up the 
meeting time showing plots to be shown for a collaboration meeting. I 
don't think Phil intended for the Monday meeting to be replaced. Phil: Did 
you?
