Please find attached a set of beta v. momentum plots for gamma p -> p pip pim reactions using the newly cooked data (cooked_048483.A01.B02, the same file Mike used). The plot on the left is the beta v. momentum distribution for all final state particles (p, pip and pim) with no (notable) cuts; I only require a proton, pi+, pi- in the final state using the GPID bank. The plot on the left is the same plot after all of my cuts (ngrf, tagrid, angle, momentum, vertex, and confidence level).

The plots are from PERP, 1.5 GeV, run 48483. The new plot only contains 
events from file A01.B02, while the plot of the previous cook has all A01 
files. 

The resolution looks much better, but we now have and extra stripe below 
the proton, and the stripe below the pions is crossing the kaons more 
heavily. 

Is anyone else seeing this sort of behavior?
