[G8b_run] Newly cooked data

Volker,

I am working right now on the PART/GPID problem. When this is done, I
have look into TOF and TAG calibrations for a few more runs (it looks
like the tagTDC_correction files were missing for several runs).
I will recook all data for which I can get reasonable calibrations. I
will create wiki tables like the ones for g9b.
The output can easily reduced to a few banks. However, since most
collaborators are using rootbeer DSTs, they can fetch ROOT/DST files
(all result banks for EVNT and PART based pid + TBER, EPIC) or
SKIMS/DSTgpid files (only banks for GPID based pid + TBER, EPIC). Of
course, we can discuss the amount of data to write to tape.

My comment to already approved analyses:
The idea to cut 'unstable' TOF paddles already on the reconstruction
level came from complications we had with earlier comparisons of MC and
real data. I think there was an advantage with such cuts for
single-prong events, which should have good timing info - but for
multi-track events we really need only 1 track to have good timing
(ST+SC) to get the event start time. I think it makes sense to check any
analysis requiring more than 1 track against recooked data, in
particular those with low statistics.

Drink some Scotch in my name ... I missed the chance to visit Glasgow!

Cheers,
Franz
