Hi everybody,
I completed inserting all information from Hyekoo's and Krishna's
previous CC analyses.
You can find everything in
http://www.jlab.org/~ripani/Reference/Group5.html
Only the 1.3 GeV and 3 GeV pages contain information as these were the
two data subsets analysed (NH3).
To converge towards a definite choice, I would suggest to produce once
more all Nphel distributions in all bins of momentum, theta and phi as
in Krishna's analysis pages reported above, overlaying histograms with
1) only cuts 1-4
2) cuts 1-4, plus one version of Hyekoo's fiducial cuts. As you can see
from his plots, using the green version is probably safer, but I would
even say that the red version (a simple cut in theta_pr) can also work
fine as all Nphel distributions are well detached from zero. You can
make your own conclusion on that.
3) cuts 1-4 + fiducial + Osipenko cuts with "loose" time cut (time
difference between SC and CC greater than -6 ns, right Xiaochao ?)
We should then look at the distributions and discuss them. If we are
happy with the results, then we can just check that the cuts do a good
job for the other energies and we're done (except that we will need to
establish acceptance and efficiency of these cuts but this will be also
necessary for the EC cuts etc.; for the acceptance, simulations will be
needed).
Best Regards
Marco
