Hi Michael
Please add the following people to under UVa for manpower (in addition to Vimukthi and Bhasitha who are already there)
Huong Nguyen (Research scientist)
Xinzhan Bai (Research Scientists)
Asar Ahmed (post-doc)
Jacob McMurtry (Grad student)
Minh Dao (Undergraduate student)
Eric Fernandez (Technician)
Of these people, Asar is now full time at Jlab and will be working with Bhasitha and Vimukthi on the GEM work there.
The others are the team which is working very hard right now at UVa to build the two XW layers; after finishing these two layers they will be testing them and shielding them before delivering to Jlab for the final installation (hopefully by mid March)
The assembly of the first XW chamber is now complete; Huong and her team are working on the second one now
Best
Nilanga

Subject: Re: [Sbs_gems] GEn-RP/KLL slides
Dear Michael,
I think what’s not clear in your details is the amount of work we have to do on the inline stack of GEMs (our primary task for 25 Jan-15 Feb). This will be a huge undertaking, and everything requires coordination and technical support due to the environments.
Also we upgraded all of BigBite in December which was also a ton of work. Not to mention we are redoing all the LV on SBS side in time for GEn-RP.
Staff is not included in the manpower which I think doesn’t accurately account for the project support as this takes a massive block of my efforts.
I’ll call in at 11:30.

Dear David, Will, Holly, all,
time keeps pressing …
here are finally some draft slides for the 15-minute presentation on GEn-RP and KLL on Wednesday at 10:50am.
(Thanks Saru for some recent materials; everything else is taken from various Wikis).
We (David, Will, …) agreed to hold a Zoom meeting at 11:30am tomorrow (i.e., today) Tuesday to go over this.
Let’s use this link: https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__jlab-2Dorg.zoomgov.com_j_1612414919&d=DwIGaQ&c=CJqEzB1piLOyyvZjb8YUQw&r=Wpfm_qzGbDXakaqXSZk8OA&m=e4hZ5fKR06b3iisFo08OsNvS06b6P1JERZ-WzAbbfjSlabuMzUwEN2Av6hcmKugQ&s=imiQi1p7Hc2OoEljby3ywby8duVR22qjkQuJ7HB2fgA&e=
(This will be after the Hall-A business meeting and during Martha's GPD talk, unfortunately there is no other way since Will can’t meet after 12 if I remember it correctly).
Will: If you still have some availability in the afternoon as well, please let me know.
David: Do you have any updated figures, e.g. FOM, projected errors, or a slide of the Dubna Ay measurement?
Holly: Do you feel that more detail is needed for the timeline? Are there any items not on hand that are needed for GEn-RP and KLL?
Non-GEM activities: Is there an installation and commissioning plan, and has there been any coordination with GEM installation activities?
Anyone: if there is anything else you wish to be reported here, please provide/let me know/come to the 11:30 meeting.
Thanks and best regards
Michael
