Dear Colleagues,

This message is to remind you of the upcoming workshop:

Electron-Ion Collider Workshop: Electron-Nucleon Exclusive Reactions
   Rutgers University, Piscataway, NJ
   Sun 14 Mar - Mon 15 Mar, 2010
   http://www.physics.rutgers.edu/np/2010rueic-home.html

The meeting is part of a series of workshops organized by the
JLab User Community, intended to discuss the physics program for
a high-luminosity, medium-energy EIC (s ~ few 100 - 2000 GeV^2,
L ~ 10^34 /cm^2/s) as a possible future option for JLab after
the 12 GeV Upgrade. Please check out the webpage for more information!

We plan for a very informal meeting with lots of time for discussion.
Besides discussing the EIC physics program we want to start
coordinating the drafting of a White Paper as input to the 2012
NSAC Long-Range Plan deliberations.

Most of you have already been informed of this meeting through
the JLab staff and users mailing lists or through individual contacts.
If you would like to attend this meeting but have not signed up yet,
we kindly ask that you register at the webpage or contact
Ron Gilman <gilman at jlab.org> concerning the logistics.
We particularly encourage interested students and postdocs
to attend this meeting. A limited amount of JSA/JLab funds is
still available to support accommodation for younger participants.
Since a number of people from JLab plan to drive to Rutgers there
will be opportunities to carpool; please contact me for arrangements,
or if you have any other questions.

We are looking forward to an exciting meeting at Rutgers!

Cheers,

    Ron Gilman
