I too support that Christian, David, Ian and Martha serve in this role.

Thank you everyone for all the work you have done so far! I support Christian, Ian and Martha (and of course David if needed) as our non-committee committee members.

Regards,
Chris

David, All,

Thank you for the update and all the effort with coordinating/communicating with the group.

I would strongly second Martha’s and Ian’s nomination for the committee.

Thank you for nominating me for this role. I think that my previous experience (scientific & managerial) would be helpful,
and that I could play a constructive (and needed) role in this effort. I would be willing to serve if endorsed by the group.
I am under no illusions re the challenges and the effort needed, but this is a critical moment for our community to come together,
and we need to step up and do what is necessary.

I assure you that I can communicate effectively with Xiangdong (even when it is not easy… have done so more than once in past efforts)
and will make all the necessary effort to get everyone on the same page in the critical period ahead.

I would commit to working with all of us and trying to form an effective collaboration with our partners in the larger group.

And, yes, I would certainly suggest that David be included and continue to represent this group that he brought together.
This should not be a question.

Best regards,

Ch.

Hi All,

Just to sound everyone out - I was going to suggest Ian and Martha, and indeed Martha has already agreed since she has already an established record on GPDs. I think it important to make emphasize this is not a Jlab-centric effort but broader. I should add that I haven’t emailed any names to Xiangdong and Feng yet, merely that we need to confirm their willingness first given the efforts that will be involved.

Any other thoughts? Christian (who has led these efforts before)? If there are four, I would also propose that I join simply because I’ve been most directly in contact with Xiangdong, rather than as a lattice expert.

Regards,
David
