Hi David et al.

 Just to make clear what my point of view is:

1) If we join with Xiangdong et al:
    a) I do not support the idea of the topical collaboration acting as a funding agency
    b) There have to be resources that are coming to this group that are appropriate for the level of effort in the project

2) If we decide not to join I will support this effort to the best of my abilities.
