<div class="">We wanted to give an update on the current situation regarding the TC “steering/coordination” committee. We sent Xiangdong and Feng our list of members (Martha, Ian, Christian and David), but then Xiangdong got back to say that Feng and Phiala
were unclear whether they wanted a joint/single proposal, and were meeting with their own group (I gather of the order of 10 institutions) on Tuesday or Wednesday to discuss. We gather this is their first meeting.</div>

<div class="">Rather than giving a long detailed email description, we thought it best to inform and discuss in person amongst ourselves as soon as possible.</div>

<div class="">The proposal is to have a meeting either tomorrow afternoon (MLK day, unfortunately), or Tuesday before 130pm. I realize not everyone will be able to participate, but if we could at least get one person from each institution that would be great.</div>
