Dear David,

Thank you for your proposal for USQCD resources, entitled

The Scientific Program Committee has begun its review and, after a first reading, has a few comments and questions.

a) Why do you request to run your projects on three different platforms?

b) You have 4 lattice ensembles to estimate the volume and discretization corrections. How do you asses the higher twist effect
in 1/P_z? How many hadron momenta will you use? How large are they?

c) Do you have a plan to calculate the renormalization and mixing for the glue distribution?

d) How do you treat the Fourier transform to obtain the PDF and GDP ?

e) It is hard for experiments to go away from the \xi = 0 limit. Do you have a plan to calculate GPD with non-zero \xi? How many
Q^2 do you plan to calculate for GPD?

f) How do you plan to pursue the 3 projects if less than requested computing time amount is allocated?

We ask you or one of your collaborators to address these questions in an email by 24 April. Although we think that it is probably not necessary, if you decide to submit a revised proposal, please do so before 24 April.

Sincerely,

USQCD Scientific Program Committee
