Gluon distribution
TK presented the unpolarized gluon distn at momentum 1 as a function of Ioffe time. There were questions both about the defn of the reduced matrix element, and of the signs going from Minkowski to Euclidean space; CM had checked the WM and AR calculation in Minkowski, and went from MS to ES which needed to be checked. Another check to be done was the ratio going into the reduced distribution as a function of Ioffe time.
Over the next couple of weeks the higher-momentum data will be analysed.
Current-current correlators
KO reported that Bali et al were performing the LCS calculations for the nucleon. He had thought of a way of doing this where the two currents were on different times slices, which could firstly avoid contact terms and secondly allow momentum to be inserted at the currents with better sampling of the three-point functions. JQ was writing a paper of the formalism
Gauge generation
TK was generating these and was going to check the plaquette and acceptance rate
Dependence on eigenvectors
ER showed the momentum-dependent spectrum as a function of number of eigenvectors (128 vs 64), and it was clear the former were needed, notably at high momenta.
Genprops
RE had been working with CE to check on memory footprint for genprops. That would be a concern, notably for GPDs rather than PDFs, and it was probably important to implement (or adapt) FW's hybrid approach. RE noted there was now a matrix version of keys.
CE had been working on the PDFs using the GEVP method: current analysis used the projection operators.
KO asked about the anisotropic gauge generation, and RW would give an update next week.
RS reported that a response to the referee re. the PRL submission would be ready early next week, and discussed as part of a separate meeting.
Next meeting
Wednesday 29th April at 12:15pm.
