Hi Joe,

Thanks for highlighting this for everyone. David, perhaps we should add it [deciding who will submit abstracts] to the agenda for next week or the week after? Perhaps there are others who "want" to talk about their work, but will not be speaking at the Asia-Pacific lattice meeting that would like to "volunteer"?

Regards,
Chris

Subject: [Hadstruct] [EXTERNAL] LaMET2020 abstracts

Hey,

Yong just sent around the indico link, https://indico.bnl.gov/event/7252/<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__indico.bnl.gov_event_7252_&d=DwMFaQ&c=CJqEzB1piLOyyvZjb8YUQw&r=phC8jtUHUVIl1OXaA25HKnc5L16EvLwhrqx4rXYGPWA&m=5qHmYjkpT0OJ7sJ_AwqxISV1jd3_44efSbJs_yoeRBQ&s=1rj3CsevcQ7I73lzZdcHsv3bnWw95_K2yfPjXthQSDU&e=>, for LaMET 2020 which will be occurring on Sep 7-11. Abstracts are due by Aug 16, but there is a catch! There are going to be only 16 talks at this workshop. That is less than half the number of talks there were at BNL last time. I am almost certain that this will be used to limit the number of pseudo-PDF and LCS topics which can be discussed. Maybe Kostas, our representative on the committee, can help prevent that. Anyway, we should take some time to consider what abstracts we will send in during one of our next few meetings.

Best,
Joe
