For those of you not familiar with Joe's suggestion, there is information about writing an LOI here
https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__snowmass21.org_loi&d=DwIFAg&c=CJqEzB1piLOyyvZjb8YUQw&r=phC8jtUHUVIl1OXaA25HKnc5L16EvLwhrqx4rXYGPWA&m=w_XWRK0OiwIWcB5nlv5ZGSfAnvJ3OQaam_fAbZ22GRg&s=wTEjVB-SV5iWZTh2VnlGbrvdcy0m2hA1kFidmhwHpwM&e=
LOIs should be no more than two pages and the deadline is August 31st.
The Snowmass process is organised around "Frontiers", which are further divided into Topical Groups. Snowmass is really aimed at the particle physics program in the US, but naturally has overlap with nuclear physics. The most relevant for nucleon structure (on the lattice) are the Energy Frontier, Topical Group EF06 (QCD and strong interactions:Hadronic structure and forward QCD) and the Theory Frontier, Topical Group TF05 (Lattice gauge theory). Like the arXiv, LOIs can be "cross-listed" into multiple Topical Groups.

Chris

We definitely do, but it is better to write multiple LOIs with fewer authors than one coordinated one from all of us.

We also may want to discuss if we want to participate in the Snowmass process. Andreas just sent around a message asking all USQCD to consider writing something. RBC has already planned a number of LOIs to be sent in.

Dear All,
My apologies for the late email. We will have group meeting tomorrow at 9 am.
Agenda: 1. Computer time / job running (DGR)
2. Abstract submission for Lamet 2020 (DGR and JK)
