Status of Analysis

RS presented an update on the polarized/unpolarized gluon distributions, in concert with TK, using the combination in Wayne's notes. The data was shown at a particular flow time, using XMDF. KO was trying Bayesian fits. There was a question as to whether the double ratio is sufficient to get the polarized gluon distribution. In particular, in the double ratio what are the appropriate combination of polarized and unpolarized notes. CM will send around the notes. An important remaining question is what will happen at the evolved Wilson-flow time.

CE showed his preliminary analysis of the Ioffe-Time Distribution and the fits both to q_v and q_+. The data was at different z's was evolved to a common scale, and the fits were performed to all the values of z within the range.

Joshua showed his analysis of the Wilson-flowed data, and in comparison with the fits from TK - in general, the data was consistent, but with differences in the error bars. One issue was whether the data should be published, albeit with quite large errors. There was a push (hint Anatoly) to hold off on polarized paper pending the gluon analysis.

We welcomed Nikhil to the collaboration meeting.

SZ noted the need to respond to the PRACE referee reports, and asked for help with the distillation references.

There was need to implement FW's changes into the Frontera runs.

KO noted that Xiangdong Ji had set up a Slack channel in the context of CNF, and suggested as many collaborators be added, including graduate students.

Recall that the deadline for the LaMET workshop was 16th August, and we should aim to circulate abstracts before then.

4th August at 9am, but with a very limited agenda given that APLAT2020 will be from 2pm - 5pm Japan time...
