GPDs

CE gave a summary discussion on GPDs extracted from his talk at the meson physics at the EIC. In particular, he described the formalism for extracting the GPDS, and the dependence of skewness and momentum transfer on the momentum boosts. There was discussion about the relative signal-to-noise ratios for pions as opposed to baryons; in principle, it was worse for the former but distillation may reduced the coupling to the "noise" contribution.

There was a lot of discussion about the boosts needed for momentum transfers relevant to the GPDs - the momentum transfer in the transverse was always relatively small, so boosts would be only in the z-direction. However, it may be necessary to have transfers between different boosts.

Bayesian Fitting

CM will send around an email suggesting a (bi-weekly?) meeting to discuss fitting strategies.
