Dear David and All,
Thanks for a very well-written proposal!
I have a thought for all of us to consider, so that we might be able to avoid negative comments from some potential reviewers who might want to draw a preference between "pseudo-" and "quasi-" PDF approaches. After all, we are calculating the same matrix elements of two-parton correlators, but, with different way to renormalize and different variable to Fourier Transform. It might be beneficial to emphasize the calculation of the more generic matrix elements of two-quark and two-gluon correlators, and point out that these results are universally useful for "quasi-" and "pseudo-" approach to extract PDFs. Of course, we specify what we do is to analyze the "data" with the "pseudo-" approach.
I believe that if we adopt this approach, the change to the text of the proposal is minimum.
Best,
Jianwei

Dear All,
Well, it seems there is a strong feeling that if you have a world-famous brand (pseudo-PDF), stick with it, but I have at least tried to make it consistent. I’ve implemented Raza’s suggestions and typos, added something hardwiring about the (frankly unknown) cost of correlation functions. I’m out of action tomorrow, at least in the day time, so will submit early evening.
Regards,
David
